Misao's Decision is the ninety-first chapter of the Rurouni Kenshin manga.
Synopsis[]
Now that Okina is close to death as result to his fight against Shinomori Aoshi, everyone at the Aoiya is worried about him and the own future of the Oniwabanshū as a group. But Misao declares she will become the new leader of the Oniwabanshū to keep fighting for the safety of Kyōto. Will the rest of the omitsu support her in that decision? What will everyone do to keep functioning as a joint unit?

Differences with the 1996 anime[]
- In the manga in the scene where Misao declares she will be the new okashira of the Oniwabanshū, she changes clothes inmediately to her ninja outfit so she starts to unclothe. Kaoru, Masukami and Ōmime cover her from the sight of the men. This is changed in the 1996 anime where she does not change clothes.
