The Ten Swords Summoned is the ninety-seventh chapter of the Rurouni Kenshin manga.

Synopsis

Hiko Seijūrō XIII is hardly wounded by Kenshin's Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, and Kenshin helps him, taking his master to his shack, and giving him a cardiac stimulant. Meanwhile, the Juppongatana is summoned in Shishio's headquarters. Usui shows Sojiro his useless eyes, and talking about his Eye of the Heart.

Shishio gives a short speech to all the Juppongatana members but Chō, who is in prison. He talks about The Great Kyoto Fire, notifying them that it will begin one day later, at 11:59 P.M.

When the new day comes, Kenshin wakes up and realizes that his master is fine and recovered from the wound Kenshin induced. When Kenshin asks him how he did it, Hiko answers that is because Kenshin's sword, a Sakabatō.

After that, Hiko tells his apprentice that the training ended now that Kenshin learned the ōgi.
