- There are some differences between the events of the manga and the anime:
- In the original manga Okina tells Kenshin of the finding of Hiko Seijūrō inside the Aoiya. This is in contrast with the anime where Okina and Kenshin speak outside in a small yard.
- In the original manga (and the 1996 anime adaptation) Kenshin arrives to the mountain where Hiko Seijūrō is doing pottery during the day. This is in contrast with this anime episode where Kenshin arrives at night.
Trivia[]
- This episode was titled after the original of Act 83.
- This episode also uses a scene with widescreen effect (showing Misao’s eyes) for dramatic purposes.
