- In the lyrics "Shura" refers to a realm of constant warfare and struggle in Buddhist cosmology, symbolizing the internal and external battles one faces
- Throughout this opening sequence, the characters are mostly represented with still frames (that do not move) except from minor effects like two hands closing, eyes opening, and two movements by Kamiya Kaoru that have minimal continous animation on them.
