Rurouni Kenshin: The Original Soundtrack II - Departure (るろうに剣心 -明治剣客浪漫譚- オリジナル・サウンドトラック II -DEPARTURE-) is the second CD album of the Rurouni Kenshin/Anime soundtrack.
It was released on October 21st 1996. This album was published by Sony Records.

It includes music composed by Noriyuki Asakura.

Trivia[]

  • There are a couple of songs in this CD that have more than one version:
    • The song "Departure" has 2 different versions (Piano + Acoustic Guitar Version and Master Mix).
    • The song "[Starless] -Tsuki mo naku, Hoshi mo naku-" ([Starless] –No Moon, No Stars-) has 2 different versions (Acoustic Guitar Version and Master Mix).
  • The song "Kimi wa dare wo Mamotte Iru" (Who are You Protecting) is present in this CD with yet another version (Hard Version), which makes it the fifth different version of the same track in the OST (so far).
