the Fourth Avenue Cafe is the fourth ending theme to the Rurouni Kenshin 1996 anime, performed by the japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel.
On the original TV broadcast, it was used from Episode 39 until Episode 45, when it was switched back to "Heart of Sword~Yoake Mae~", due to backlash from L'Arc-en-Ciel's drummer Sakura being arrested for heroin possession (which also put the band on hiatus).

- This ending sequence has scenes from Episodes 26, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 40, as well original scenes.
- The problems that made this song to be removed from the anime also delayed the song's full release (which was originally March 26th, 1997) to August 30th, 2006 to commemorate L~arc en C'iel's 15th anniversary.
