Tsukiō is an adjutant of Shinko-ryū under the command of Isurugi Raijūta.
Appearance[]
Tsukiō is an average size man with a muscular build, a bold head, no eyebrows, and has earring on each ear.
Tsukiō wears a straw hat with diamond shaped holes to see through, a white shirt with a cross shaped pattern all over it, a white cloth around his armpits to hold up his sleeves, white armbands, a white sash around his waist, white shorts, white socks, and sandals.
Personality[]
Tsukiō is a loyal member of the Shinko-ryū, and is willing followed Raijūta's order to try to get Kenshin to join them or to kill him if they fail.

Tsukiō is a trained swordsman, but was no match for Kenshin, even with it being four on one.

Tokyo Arc[]
Tsukiō is one of the four swordsmen dispatched to attack Himura Kenshin at the Kamiya Dōjō with an ultimatum: join them or die. The four quickly enter the Dōjō and surround Kenshin. When Kenshin declines to join them, Tsukiō and Kiriji attack together, but Kenshin dodges their attack. As Kenshin manages to knock out Tsuruzaemon, Tsukiō suddenly falls unconscious.
